Sue is completing a practice-led PhD in Dance & Choreography at Edinburgh College of Art,
supported by the Edinburgh Studentship, supervised by Dr. Sophia Lycouris, Prof. Andy Clark and Dr. Mark Wright.
Her research explores how choreographic and somatic practices, philosophy,
and mediation through performance and technology can be employed in the
critical engagement of concepts of embodiment. The key emergent themes are of attention, memory,
language and gesture, and the potential of touch as a choreographic medium.
She is a member of CIRCLE research
group.
