classes

Sue's dance and movement classes draw on a broad range of influences including Cunningham and Release techniques, and somatic practices such as Yoga, T'ai Chi and the Eyerman Technique. The emphasis is on a strong, centered and dynamic use of the body, focusing on awareness, integrity, clarity and ease in movement. Her appoach to movement is underpinned by somatic principles and a concern to facilitate healthy and sustainable practice.

workshops

In creative workshops participants are invited to engage on journeys of exploration, discovery and articulation of ideas and concepts through movement, experiential anatomy and process-based work. Workshop themes include:

Attentional Alacrity
Tactile Acuity
Memory/Re-memberings
Language and Gesture
Massage into Movement
The attentional practices are invaluable for developing performers' skills for working within complex performance environments such as interactive installations or improvisational taskscapes.
